Media Activities
As a scholar at a publicly-funded research university, I believe it's part of my job to communicate broadly with the general public about religion in China, and Chinese religions in North America. I have made appearances on television and radio to give expert opinion about Chinese religion and culture, and I have published opinion pieces in a range of print and online media.
I am always available to journalists to give commentary on the areas of Chinese culture and religion, and have been featured in the Global and Mail, the National Post, Canadian Press, CTV National News, CTV Canada AM, the Washington Post, and the Christian Science Monitor among many media outlets.
